We know that coking refers to a process in which coking coal is heated to about 1000 ° C (high-temperature carbonization) under the condition of isolated air, and coke, coke oven gas and other coking chemical products are produced by thermal decomposition and coking. In this process, due to the high original content of sulfur dioxide in the flue gas, the coke oven flue gas cannot reach the air pollutant emission standard without treatment. Therefore, desulfurization and denitrification are required to make the coke oven flue gas reach the emission standard. Crystallization will occur at low temperature inside the pipeline, so the electric heating cable needs to be used to maintain the temperature inside.

For the desulfurization and denitrification pipelines, they are relatively corrosive, have high temperature requirements, and have relatively complicated environments. Common types of electrical heating cables cannot meet the requirements, and MI heating cables are required to keep them warm. The coke oven flue gas desulfurization and denitration project of Maanshan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. uses the MI heating cable produced by our company. The MI heating cable uses single or multiple alloy electric heating wires as a heating source, high purity, high temperature, and fused crystal oxidation. Magnesium is used as a heat-conducting insulator, and seamless continuous stainless steel or copper pipes are used as sheaths. It is manufactured by special production processes. PE or low-smoke and halogen-free jackets can be added to places with strong corrosion effects.
